Scott had a camera in hand as far back as he can remember, staring with Fisher Price toy cameras. Later he enjoyed making pictures with 110 and Polaroid cameras. During 1995 and 1996, his senior year, Scott got involved in photography at school. That is when photography started to become even more of an interest to him. Scott continued photography through college and ended up receiving and Associate Degree in Fine Art Photography and Digital Imaging from Richland Community College in 2001.
Scott started his photographic journey being hired as a studio and location portrait photographer. He has been involved in senior photography, family photography and has also worked with artists such as Miranda Lambert, Gospel musicians Fred Hammond, Toby Mac and others. Scott has photographed artist, John Nieto, along with paintings for John's website. Scott also volunteered and headed up the Longview, Texas chapter of the world wide event, Help Portrait for several years.
In more recent years Scott, continues his journey with the traditional film process (and digital), and has become interested in story telling with his photography. He enjoys street photography and documenting every day life that is unfolding around him. Scott continues to work on personal projects, books, and fine art photography.
